Skill Math
According to Common Core Standards each student should have their basic facts for multiplication and division memorized by the end of their 3rd grade year. The skill math program allows the students to move at their own pace and is an individualized program for each student. When a student finishes a practice packet for memorized facts the student will take a timed test and they must not miss any questions on the test. When a student is working on a skill level they can take a practice test that is not timed and if they score 80% or higher they move onto the next skill. If a student scores lower than 80% the student will go through a practice packet and then go through a post test where the student must score 80% or higher in order to move onto the next skill.
