Today was an early out and tomorrow will be too. In class today we took our practice spelling test. Tomorrow will be there test for a grade. In math we worked on times four facts. Their assignment was Lesson 6-2 pg. 71, 89. I have told them to use one of two strategies as of right now. The first is they can make up an adding problem to solve the problem or the second is to make groups and put tally marks in the groups and then count. Their goal is to memorize their times facts by the end of the year. Some students are working on their skill math packet tonight if they have not finished one this week. When they take their skill math test they have one minute to show they KNOW the facts for that number. This afternoon we made scarecrows to hang up in our room. Remember to check what time you have signed up for parent/teacher conference and I will see you all very soon.
